WPS release full schedule. FC Gold Pride in trouble if they win regular season.

That’s right folks. Time to break out the calendars because the full schedule is out and up on the WPS site. And there are even links that take you to info on how to get tickets! Brilliant. Oh and yesterday I received this lovely twitter update from a certain twitter user: “Guess somebody had to build the WPS game schedule into an html table. Keep your eyes on WPS homepage – blood, sweat & tears went into this.” So everyone reading this should send special mental thank yous to that certain twitter-er ’cause it’s totally true html tables were invented just to give the rest of us ulcers.

And San Jose Lions FC blogger David uncovered this little snafu with the San Jose Earthquakes schedule regarding the WPS League Final. Seems the Earthquakes are playing the Kansas City Wizards on August 22nd. Whoops. So if our Bay Area team winds up winning the regular season, it appears they no longer have a stadium to host the Final game. And if this actually happens, may I suggest they move the WPS Final to Kezar Stadium? My request is for purely selfish reasons – namely that I can take public transportation to the game and back. Win win.

OK, think about what you just wrote: Bay Area getting to the finals…(!?)

Gotta leave all options open… just in case.
