I guess that didn't work out. I'm gonna go out on a limb and suppose the reasons are partially because WPS seems to be falling a bit behind on pulling all the teams together and partially perhaps some logistical issues with US Soccer itself. It'd be really great if an awesome journalist got into the details on this. I can really see an in depth piece on whatever changes to the USWNT program are coming down the pipe because the new league is on its way.
