Abby Wambach not shortlisted by FIFA, is shortlisted by China

Apparently, during the Olympics, Chinese officials produced a list of athletes who could potentially “stage some sort of demonstration”. Wambach was on that list… despite not participating in the games. In fact, according to the Sports Illustrated article, the list didn’t seem to be very well thought out:
